This study is comparing the effects of an investigational drug versus placebo on participants and their memory problems. Researchers also want to find out if this drug is safe. This study may provide further understanding of the disease and potential benefits of this investigational drug for people with Alzheimer Disease. It is hoped this drug will slow down how fast memory problems progress. It is not expected to improve memory over current levels. The total length of the study time is approximately 3 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A study partner will be required to accompany the participant to the study sit for some of the schedule visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Participant will not be charged for the study drug or any medication they might be given to help treat or prevent side effects while participating in this study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
