RapidArc delivers IMRT during a 360 degree rotation around the patient. Radiation can be delivered at any angle during this 360 degree rotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RapidArc allows the radiation dose to closely conform to the shape of the target, while minimizing dose to surrounding healthy tissues. RapidArc is 2 to 8 times faster than standard IMRT, which improves comfort and convenience. In addition, faster treatment times mean it is less likely there will be movement of the patient or the patient\u2019s internal organs during treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Physicians\u2019 Goal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our physicians\u2019 goal is to provide the highest-quality neurological care\u2013 the same level of care we would want for ourselves or our loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will help our patients to understand their condition, listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and provide the best clinical treatment available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Radiation Oncology Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our radiation oncologist works with the medical oncologists and surgeons as part of a multi-disciplinary team to plan the best course of treatment for each patient.
